Maison de Misk London — Return & Refund Policy

At Maison de Misk London, every extrait de parfum is crafted with sincerity, precision, and care. If you’re not entirely satisfied, this policy explains how we help—while protecting product integrity and hygiene.

1) Cancellations

  • To request a cancellation, email info@maison-de-misk.co.uk with your order number.

  • Orders already processed or dispatched cannot be cancelled; once shipped, any request is handled as a return under this policy.

2) Return Window & Eligibility

  • 30 days from delivery to request a return.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original sealed packaging (cellophane seal and cap intact).

  • Include proof of purchase (order number).

  • Gifts with purchase and any included samples must be returned, or their value may be deducted.

  • We can only accept returns for orders placed on maisondemisk.com.

3) How to Start a Return (RMA required)

Email info@maison-de-misk.co.uk with your order number, what you’re returning, and the reason. If approved, we’ll issue:

  • a Return Authorisation (RMA),

  • a return label if applicable,

  • instructions for safe return.

Items sent without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

4) Return Shipping & Responsibility

  • Unless we made an error or the item arrived damaged, you pay return shipping.

  • Use a tracked, insured service; the parcel remains your responsibility until we receive it.

  • If a parcel is refused/undeliverable, we’ll deduct original shipping and any return carriage, duties, or fees from the refund.

5) Damages or Incorrect Items (48-hour notice)

Inspect your order on arrival and contact info@maison-de-misk.co.uk within 48 hours if it’s damaged/leaking or incorrect.
Please include clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and the product. After verification, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

6) Refunds

  • We’ll inspect returned items and email you an approval or rejection.

  • Approved refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Delivery charges, duties, taxes, and service fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

  • Refunds cover product value only; missing gifts with purchase may be deducted.

  • Timings can vary by bank/card issuer. If it’s been 15 business days since approval, email us.

7) Non-Returnable or Restricted Items

For hygiene/safety, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened or used perfumes (tamper-evident seal broken),

  • discovery sets/testers/samples,

  • gift cards, promotional items, or sale/clearance marked final sale,

  • custom orders, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

We record batch codes and may refuse returns showing signs of use or tampering.

8) EU Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

For orders shipped into the EU, you may cancel within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unopened, and sealed with proof of purchase.
Note: this right does not apply to goods sealed for health protection/hygiene once unsealed (which includes perfumes).

9) Exchanges

Please submit a return request first. Once processed, place a new order for the desired item.
